Students can also elect to expand their knowledge in different disciplinary areas, including, for some students, the combination of learning a foreign language, one semester studying abroad and a six-month internship, in addition to a strong disciplinary major will be a very appealing combination.
Another possibility is to broaden knowledge by taking a range of elective courses from different faculties across the university. It is also possible to gain a qualification from an overseas university so that students can add value to their UBD degree.
UBD is in the midst of discussions with universities overseas of the possibility of conferring the students with a degree during their third year abroad with the overseas universities, allowing the students to graduate with a double degree at the end of the four- year programme.
If you are going to be a practising accountant, you have to take the ACCA exam. There are three levels of exemption and the Accounting and Finance programme at UBD has been granted two levels exemption. | |
