8 da moment aku cuti sdh, jst finish my exam last wk, 16th Nov.. insya Allah will b bck soon 4 holidy.. n jom we eat smpai hampar.. aku really crav'g 4 McD n Sushi.. Sushi cni bnyk, gnya na ku condifen.. huhu.. perkembngan wyt my cook'g, i now make my own sushi.. jrg plng lasagna, or macaroni..

so far i've been to Gold Coast 2 tyms sdh.. n alum th ku bejmpa Kangaroo n Koala sbth2 ku cni erm klu kn liat pics2 ku jst cek my Fb.. bnyk bejurit 2 pics of tings i saw, n ada yg alum ku teupload plng..

enuff asking about people, well few updates from me.. new working environment.. sure things, it makes me so exhausted.. at times, it can be very ridiculous.. i miss my time working with Brunei Times and of course my MIA-session at BSP.. but nevertheless, am glad to have this job.. really appreciate it..

as of now, i have to attend so many briefings and courses and that includes the personal grooming and table etiquette.. hahahaha.. aku mkn bsopan kliah.. mcm-mcm lah..

the coming next few weeks, i'll be attached to few units under the admin/finance dept.. its gonna take most of my time.. plus so many regulations and whatnot need to be familiarized with.. tadaaaaa... i need another Faiz-Hs..

Well, there must be so many things that u'll try to prepare for the upcoming interview right? Well, just tips from me, whenever u are called up for interview or even a written test try to:

1. Check the details about the company.. Details such as the company profiles, their line of business and services and products..

2. Check the requirements of the possible position offered to u.. U may need to know some procedures or standards that might related to the possible position offered to u..

3. Whenever they asked whether u'r applying for part-time or full time position.. Always reply them that it is for the full time position..

4. Whenever they asked whether u'r planning to further ur study.. Always reply them that u'r not.. At least, tell them it wont be in the near future..

Okay.. I've heard news about u people were contacted for the financial planner/advisor position.. Ehehe.. The position sounds cool i know.. I was called last week by Kelvin.. Guess what? Its just another name of 'insurance agent', who has to go out and sell their insurance..

UBD Business 2009

The entry requirements to do Bachelor of Business (lions) at UBD, required the potential students will need 160 points for two 'A' levels or 200 points for three 'A' levels and at least a credit 6 in '0' level mathematics. The breakdowns of points are A-120pt, B-100pt, C-8Opt, D-60pt and E 40pt.

Under the Bachelor of Business programme, there will be three majors offered, namely Business Administration; Accounting and Finance; and Economics. On top of that, they will also be offering courses in governance and enterprise.

Students can also elect to expand their knowledge in different disciplinary areas, including, for some students, the combination of learning a foreign language, one semester studying abroad and a six-month internship, in addition to a strong disciplinary major will be a very appealing combination.

Another possibility is to broaden knowledge by taking a range of elective courses from different faculties across the university. It is also possible to gain a qualification from an overseas university so that students can add value to their UBD degree.

UBD is in the midst of discussions with universities overseas of the possibility of conferring the students with a degree during their third year abroad with the overseas universities, allowing the students to graduate with a double degree at the end of the four- year programme.

If you are going to be a practising accountant, you have to take the ACCA exam. There are three levels of exemption and the Accounting and Finance programme at UBD has been granted two levels exemption.
